Bad Console-to-PC Ports are Intentional
« on: July 01, 2015, 03:48:23 PM »
Releasing games poorly on the PC is purely intentional. It's how developers hope to coerce more console sales. Not only do they themselves get the guaranteed $59.99 for every console version sale (since those games are next to impossible to pirate), but Microsoft and Sony also get $300 to $400 for every Xbox One or Playstation 4 console sale.

Assassin's Creed Unity, Dying Light, Mortal Kombat X, Batman: Arkham Knight and possibly other games released within the last year are bad console-to-PC ports. It is obvious what the industry is trying to do. They aren't fixing the bad ports, either. They're leaving them as they are.
